Why did we develop li:on bikes?

"We're parents first, cyclists second. We know the joy of a child riding a bike for the first time—it's a milestone in a child's life and another step toward independence. But as former professional cyclists, we also saw a huge gap in quality and innovation between children's and adult bikes. We wanted to change that to make this important moment in a child's life safer and more memorable."

How do we increase safety and joy?

"Every parent knows the concerns that come with letting their child ride a bike to school. We've experienced that. That's why we focused on making our bikes highly visible and as safe as possible to address those concerns. Beyond safety, we also wanted to foster a love of movement in children—by giving them a bike they look forward to riding, one that inspires pride, and encourages a healthier, more active lifestyle."
