Why did we develop li:on bikes?

"We are parents first, then professional cyclists. We know the joy when a child rides a bike for the first time – it's a milestone in a child's life and another step towards independence. But as former professional cyclists, we also saw a big gap in quality and innovation between children's and adult bikes. We want to change that to make this important moment in a child's life safer and more unforgettable."

How do we increase safety and joy?

"Every parent knows the worries that come with letting their child cycle to school. We've experienced that. That's why we focus on making our bikes highly visible and as safe as possible to address these concerns. Beyond safety, we also want to foster a love for movement in children – by giving them a bike they look forward to, that evokes pride, and promotes a healthier, more active lifestyle."
